Tiney Piney,

Nice job with the overall look to the space. As Victor Erthal mentioned, I would adjust the lighting so the ceiling is getting more light and lower the brightness of the light fixtures. They seem to be a little much on the glowing side. Also some of the people in your image need to be adjusted to fit the scene better. Some of them look a little faded. Also you might want to add some reflection to your glass so you get what is below reflecting a little bit on it. Keep up the good work.

I would turn the ambient light down a little and compensate with some omnis with soft shadows to soften the scene up a little and break it up. It looks a tad flat. Just think about how the sun comes in, hits the ground, and bounces up. Most omnis in the atrium would help, letting it fade a little darker as you move away.

I agree with the other comments, the people look a little out of place. you probably need to adjust them dependent on the lighting where they stand.

Play with the lighting, the rest is there.

Please...tear me a new one!
That's icky.

The composition is harsh. The picture is cut in two by a column going down just past the lower edge, and the next thing you come to while 'entering' the space is a barrier. Then you get to an escalator where you can't see even one tread and another column with no peek past it and on the other side a person coming towards you. Either back up or move to a spot where you can provide a visual corridor into the space for the viewer. Right now it says 'stay back'.

The skylight is a perfect opportunity for sky light, and all the fun radiosity stuff that follows. The center of your space could be glowing with light coming in from the interior lightwell and bouncing about.

You couldn't have said it better.

I would also pay attention to the overall contrast of your image when placing the "fill" lights. It gives a continuous level of illumination throughout the image. Close your eyes a bit and you'll see an almost homogeneous grey image.

I would get rid of the radioactive glowing lights and change them for something more welcoming.

Thanks for the comments.

You guys defiantly right about having move the camera. The problem is I don’t want to move back too much because you lose the sightline to the atrium/skylight, which is one of the most interesting parts of the project. I will probably move a little left as Tango said but not too much as not to frame the image.

I can’t use radiosity because it is modeled in viz 3. mbr can you elaborate on where you think the omnis should go because all the light fixtures have them. Did have some light in the atrium to fake radiosity, I’ll increase them.
