ok here you go,:

The recliner (head rest) looks 2 hard, try beveling the edges just a little bit, the same with the couches.

The floor should be divided into pannels, I think that whole one panel idea seems a little unrealistic. also the reflections on the floor should be somewhat blurry in accordance with the finish of the floor. Also I think your plants are 2 lit up, try using oppacity maps to give them a tanslucent effect.

PS, I think the composition of the shots need a little bit of work. I seems a little out of balance. try a shot as if you were sittin across or maybe lower than the subject (the red glass bowl). I think some DOF would embelish this image as well; just a little bit.

eveything else look good. I Cant wait to see an update :)

Besides what has been said by Cesar,

The colors for the plants and the walls are blown out [well, I guess mentioned already :) ]. Maybe place a skyline of a major metropolis in the background?

I'd fix the LC3 chair modeling. Your lower side bar is too low, plus it looks like the cushions are cut from the same material as the tabletop. Make the cushions have a "stuffed" appearance.

Here's a ref:

I'd also relocate the camera. The main thing that bothers me is the lamp hanging down from nowhere; it reminds me of a boom mike that was misplaced into a scene. I need to see more of it because right now I just sit there and wonder, "what is that thing" instead of appreciating your rendering.

DOF is fun, but not necessary if you set things up right. Personally, I like DOF, but I feel that I like it more than it is professionally used in architectural mags, so be selective when you use it. Otherwise DOF can make a photo-real scene look like a scaled down model.

Can you give us times on the rendering? I really like Brazil renderings, they always seem to have a great feel to them when done right.

Looks great for WIP so far so plz keep us posted,

Paul

Hi ppl,

Thanks for replaying and Great suggestions!

I posted this image to mulitple boards but

comments from these forum are most constructive

thx

1. I'm pretty new to 3dsmax since im using Rhino for majority of modeling.

I tried to bevel(chamfer)cushions but can't find the way how to do it redface2.gif:(

What am i missing, tried chamfer modifier but no luck. cushions are editable mesh.

2. About camera,

I agree that composition isnt the best, i will try to fix this out. I will alos change lens (28mm) to somethin like 50mm since the closer LC3 chair looks unneturaly bigger.

3.Regarding wooden floor,

I wondered what was wrong with floor, didnt look *right*, Cesar R spoted the mistake, i will try using sevral panels instead of one, thx.

Now, reflection on the floor, i triesd tweaking every option but no luck again :(

guess i'll need to read that manual that comes with max :D

Regarding Brazil r/s.

The whole image (800*600) took ~ 14 h. eek2.gif

But i need to mention that i have very old computer PII 340 MHz , 320MB RAM and old crappy graphic card, so no suprises why it took so long

but nevertheless i heard tha Vray render considerably faster than Brazil.

There are 3 geometry lights in scene (those behind LC3 chairs) and 1 spot light.

Sorry for such long replay.

Will post a image when it will be finished, soon i hope :D

Thx
