animation help

Please help, i seem to have an error with overbrightness ( lots of white dots ). I also seem to have a little light leakage at ceiling level.

i attach my LC settings and my LC+IR map settings.

i am calc LC first, then adding saved file to secondary LC and then calc primary IR map and then finally rendering with saved files.

the problem is not consistent. my lights are a mixture of Vray sphere lights for external light+hrdi environment and photometric lights in the main office space.

any advice for this animation would be appreciated.

regards

david

Hi Martin, the way in which i have learnt is to calc LC and save it, then use it to support the calc of IR and then turn the LC off for the final render.

The final LC will calc with 1000 subs, sorry the settings might of been a bit misleading, anyway i finally got to the bottom of the problem it was simply and adjustment to the sample size ( as we use mm not generic units ) and a reduction in intensity of lights.

thanks for your help.

This isnt related to the problem you are having, but, if you are using LC for glossy rays, as in your render settings image, you should have it turned on for secondary bounce in your final renders.
