skala67
its been a while, but I have some new images for y'all. I am typically a C4D user (see previous works threads), but I decided to try out 3dMAX and Vray. This was the first result of that process. Lemme know what ya think... cheers, tj
sterealkey
Some of your textures still need a lot of work. Try using more than just diffuse, there are so many parameters in a material that you can tweak to make it more realistic. Your lighting is definately on the right track, it looks nice. All & all very good for a first encounter with Vray, I'm sure from here on its just gonna get better & better. Good luck mate

Tim Saunders
I assume you just didn't turn on the GI and are using vray materials too Right? As you can assume, ther materials are what needs the most attention. There are some contact shadows missing that could help the stools a bit. But it is the subtle reflections that the scene is missing. All the textures look pretty plain old Viz render looking. Good luck in the learning proccess. 3D_IC
I agree with Tim. The walls and ceiling look great, but the lower part looks like scanline? Great start to V-ray well done.
