Brian Cassil
Puxa vida! Mais brasileiros! Bem vindo a CGA! Ja falei que tudo mundo no Brasil deve fazer graficos de computadores. (Holy cow! *sort of* More brazilians! Welcome to CGA! I've already said that everyone in Brasil must be doing computer graphics.) Nice images, I especially like the detail in the roof tiles and all the foliage. Lighting looks nice too. I do have one couple suggestions: The very steep slope near the garage and next to the stairs looks like it's going to spill over onto the driveway or something. You may want to put a retaining/planter wall there or something. I know a lot of architects/clients like to see people in there renderings and the ones by the pool look like they belong but the ones walking along the sidewalk look like they are lost. I would add some on the stairs leading up to the entry or get rid of them entirely. The water looks way too blue. Maybe some more reflection and a tile pattern under the water surface would help some. These are pretty minor critques. Nice images overall! garethace
The ones of the swimming pool i find very interesting in fact. Because rarely in computer graphics nowadays do we see all the 'other' spaces of a design. Remember architecture is experienced in both space and in time. That is you have to move about the design in order to fully understand it. Too much these days computer graphics just FAILS to represent that important aspect of architecture. Not all spaces of a design are really nice spaces, but we tend to use them alot. For instance, not much of the time of the occupier of that house will be spent standing across the road admiring the front elevation. Yet that is the side that most cgartists will concentrate on for selling purposes. The occupier of the house will possibly spend much more time in the rear of the site with their family on normal days as you have shown.
