Tree model + maps

I said id put some stuff about the low-poly tree i made so here it is, but im going to stop short of putting the assembled model on here, you can give a man a fish........

screen shots and render. in the screen shot you can see which parts of the model have lower, top and middle mapping.

The process looks pretty straight forward.

cool, post the results and maybe we could swap completed models! In fact, anyone who contributes a reasonable looking tree here, we can make a communal tree collection...

hey looks very cool. I want to give it a try. Here the dumbas... question: what's the process? must I make multiple planes on with I apply these maps or there is another geometry I must use?
