Hi all

This is a personal project i've been working on for a while which im planning on including in my portolio...this is a strait render out of LW (no post work yet) and id like some suggestions before going ahead with post work.

I know they're are some obvious probs with shadows and that annoying blue reflection to the left...but il take care of them

modeled & rendered in Lightwave, no radiosity, just RT...to much transparency for it i think orangecry

Cheers

Better try Lightscape, then! Just kidding.

It's a nice image but too even overall-find a way to create interest in an area of the picture--perhaps more stuff going on inside a portion of the building, perhaps people grouped around some outdoor artpiece, spilling out of a gallery or party (it is nighttime). The perspective is too centered in the elevation. I would suggest going up or down to about 1/3 of the height of the building. If it were me, I would lower the eyeheight. Speaking of horizon, you have some mountain shapes that are well below where they would really be.

Thanks Ernest

Thanks for spotting the issue with the horizon, that got completely past me.

The render is taken from another section of the building but point taken!

And I was thinking about people in dinner/formal wear...hmmmm, you know where i can get a nice model of a limo? :ngelaugh:

thanks again
