Viz question on exposure

Is there a way to have on by default, everytime i open Viz, I also have to change my default lighting to one light everytime i open it up, anyway to make it default, thanks for any help

Try checking your settings under the preferences so that it is only 1 default light and make sure there is no exposure control set.

 

Then save the current settings as your custom start up file- hopefully these settings get maintained each time you start but I am guessing. No acces to my Max right now to confirm.

I believe if you set up everything the way that you want it (exposure control, default renderer etc.) you can then go to the "assign renderer" section under the common tab and there is a button that says "save as defaults". I'm pretty sure if you click on that VIZ will default to all of those settings.
