calebabudu
what is actually responsible for generating renders. the cpu or the ram? and which is better now for the use of programs like 3dsmax and softimage xsi, amd 64x2 or core2duo. i want to clone a desktop and i am wondering which would be better for use of max. STRAT
what is actually responsible for generating renders. the cpu or the ram? the cpu is responsible for calculating the renders. RAM just aides in buffering this process. The more RAM the better. and which is better now for the use of programs like 3dsmax and softimage xsi, amd 64x2 or core2duo. software wise it's up to you. none is better than the next, just different. hardware? spend as much money as you can afford. i want to clone a desktop and i am wondering which would be better for use of max. as mentioned, multi processing suites max ideally. the more you can spend the better.
