Specifying Wall parameters

Hello

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this.. I used revit once and found that it was very good and intuitive defining wall types (different materials, assigning material thickness, etc..). I don't know how to do it in archicad. Can anybody help there? or give me a place to look for it?..

Assuming you're using AC10 with the standard menu setup you want to go to: options>element attributes>composites to create new wall types.

 

Then to get a wall to use the composite structure you need to set the 'cut fill' from the 'floor plans and sections' part of the 'Wall selection settings'. Or, in the 'Info Box' before you create the wall it can be set from a drop down box.
