Scotty T
I want to package all my work from college into a demo using premier. And maybe put it my website as a portfolio when I start freelancing. Anytime I created a demo in the past the file size was large. If I create this demo I am looking at half a gig. Not a specialist at premier is there something to tone down the final file size?
Devin Johnston
File size is really determined by the type of compression you use when you export out your video footage. If you use something like QuickTime you will get very high quality but your file sizes will be much larger than if you used a windows media video codec. It also depends on the bit rate setting in these codec's as to how small or large the file size will be. You will have to experiment in order to figure out which one works best for you but the wmv format will usually give you a descent quality.
