red and green boxes

Does anyone know why this is happening and even better, how to fix it?

I am using a final gather map which i created with a grey override material. I thought that this was supposed to avoid these artifact problems. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix? It is for an animation so moving the camera is not a solution.

There is a bug with the fast interpolate reflections.

 

Don't use fast interpolate.

 

Try using a combination of the High detail distance settings and trace depth under the advanced rendering tab.

 

For the walls and ceiling, just use the Highlightsand FG only. No need for glossies there.

yes, thats what I did, and thats what i learned. :D

 

I found out the problem. It was because i had used the pearl texture on the walls (A&D material). I changed it to Matte and it worked perfect. It also sped up the rendering process 2-3X.
