Geoffc
I went to an AIA lecture the other night at a large museum theater, where the architect had some sort of laptop (?) on the podium, hooked into a projector that was displaying his images, I believe using flash to navigate. Anyway, he was somehow able to take a stylus/pen of some sort and mark on a screen or tablet, which would appear as red lines on the images. This way he was able to quickly sketch over the images while he described the projects. Yes, much like Madden does during football games. Any ideas on software/hardware setups that do this? We have some public presentations coming up that these would be very useful for.
Ernest Burden III
I don't know, but my guess is that it was Flash. Last week I went to a presentation by a Flash web design specialist. I think that's how he put together his interactive, animated visuals projected from a Mac.
Geoffc
Including the pen/stylus ability?
BrianKitts
He could also have used adobe acrobat professional. Acrobat has built in commenting and markups tools. You could use the pencil tool while in full screen mode and it would achieve what you are after regardless of using a mouse or a tablet stylus. And at the end you could save the presentation with the markups which can saved or removed later. Also has some other features for arrows, clouding, and noting on the images. jvlive
My graphire tablet has this small app which gives you the ability to write over whatever's on screen. Maybe tablet pc's have this app too?
