kippu
is there a way to render out an animation and later add lens flare effects to the ceiling lights in the animation, like track it somehow and do it?
SunGlare
You can render lights in a separate pass, use it as tracking reference, apply flare to tracked data, and use it in composition. or you can use this pass as a soure itself, will be faster, but then you cant keep the lens light effect. Nic H
Hi Kippu Are you using self illuminated or vray light mat for your bulbs/lights? The way I do it is to render a pass of just the light material with all lights and gi off. This produces a black and white image of the lights that you can use in after effects. I use a plug in called trapcode that is excellent for lens effects/glows. Just apply it to the light pass layer and it will automatically make various types of glows / flares for you. There must be a way to do it without plugins using teh light pass I just cant think of a easy way right now. hmmm.
