nisus
Hi All, I try to render a large image, but I always got 99.99% of the render done when the system hangs. I'm trying to save more memory by adjusting the bitmap pager, but I got no idea how to set it up, meaning I have only this information: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=5581641&linkID=5573345 I would also like to know whether the setting of the bitmap pager is 'slave'-dependent or 'file'-dependent, meaning: do I have to setup the bitmap pager on a per slave/machine basis? or do I just set it up on my workstation? rgds, nisus

martincg
hm...i am using v-ray so no much help with MR. but sometimes in vray helps, if i am using batchrender /memory saving too/, export it to .bat file, close max and just start directly from .bat file. /sorry for previous Q, did not read the head line/

I edited the title AFTER your Q. I was not specific enough myself ,-) Tnx for pointing that out. rgds, nisus
