mferreri
I have an LCD television in my model and I want to apply an avi file to it so it looks like a video is playing on it as I run my animation. How do you do this?
gfa2
If I remember right, you just load it in the diffuse slot of a material and apply it to the TV screen. Pretty straight forward, but it's been awhile since I've done it.
jvlive
There was a discussion on this last week. http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/22264-tv-animation-3ds-max.html
Trevor Tizard
Not sure you can do that with Viz. Might need Max.
Tim Saunders
Na, I'm pretty sire it works in Viz. I haven't tried this exact thing, but I have used animated skies as environments, and it worked great. If you can do that much, I'm sure you can do the same as gfa said. IHAB
yes you can with any importable extensions like (.avi) or (.mov) you can put your film into the material diffuse through (bitamp) & assign it to your LCD screen
