When you work using the proper scale, radiosity gets easier to set, photometric and standard lights work right, blocks you download from the net come in the right size... All you do is win. Also, you can then set which unit you want to work using the Display Units Setup dialog. That way, if another person in your office wants to work in a file you did, but prefers to work in meters instead of milimiters, no problem. Just change the display units and you're set. Since it is based on a real world light, its decay is very precise, and not only that. So i recomend you to setup properly you units (if youre using max of course) Using milimeters? ok, setup for milimiters. Cause if you units are in cm and you work in mm , you will have trouble.
