epacheco
Hi. I've been looking for a website or book with common measurements and standards for architecture (not building codes, just in case you thought about that) and its different styles. For example, door dimensions, floor heights, wall thickness, window heights, etc. Does anybody know of any resource for this info? Thanks, Esteban

mbowers
Sure. The most widely used resources in my office are the Architectural Graphics Standards and Time Saver Standards for Interior Design and Space Planning. The other book mentioned is also a great one. Hope this helps!

epacheco
I'll have a look at all those books. I am a 3d artist, with an interest in architecture, so this will definitely help with my ideas. I worked for an architectural visualization company and this is an issue that always came up. Thanks a lot for the help. mskin
its interesting, i almost fired off "architectural graphics standards". But i realized, i've refered to it rarely lately (last five years). I remeber using it to look up bus turning radii.... lately i've been going to the source, manufacturers websites. I enjoy taking graphics standards into the can with me for some dumb reading, but other than that i find it rather useless.
