Matt Sugden Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 On a similar thread to the pricing one running, I am about to quote for some work on some large industrial warehouse units, which i have never tackled before, and because of the nature of the building structure I'm a little unsure of the quantity of the modelling required as the structure and building materials are quite different from my bread and butter detached housing etc. I'm sure it can't be that complicated, but I was hoping for some insight from someone who maybes does these freqeuntly, as to comparitive timescales to modelling say a block of flats. Are the industrial units more involved, as they seem to have a lot of steel framework, particularily on the inside. Also with this work being for a purely commercial application, is there a difference in what one can charge, compared to a medium sized property developer?
