Indeed I guess that the blurred motion feeling comes from the materials I use

 

I still have to make some changes in de design, the floor of the patio needs a kind of pattern of concrete, grass and stones.

Besides that I have to correct some modelling/texturing details :p

Nice work! I especially like the right side of the image.Very good glass too! Crit would be the beam in the middle of the windows. The further it goes to the end, the more it looks like aan 'cartoon' render. Maybe it is outlining causing this?

How did you do the perforated steel? I really like how that turned out.

The metal below actually looks a little tiled to me.

Thx Poll,

 

The beam in de middle on the right side has to be a lot smaller actually so maybe that will change something ...

The perforated steel is just a steel material with an opacity map on it, the holes will be smaller too on the next update (clients request)

 

Back to work now ;)

In fact there is a displacement map on those stones but maybe I can make that better ... I will try :p

Not too copnvinced by the shadows on this one. If the sun was bright enough too wash out the concrete on the floor and the sky luminence is enough to make blue tinted shadows, I think the shadows would be on the sharper side of blurry.

I still agree with that.. The sun would not lose intensity that quickly in that image..

 

Smaller items like leaves / foliage would cast the soft shadows, but the edge of the roof / wall would dbe much harder than that..
