Geoffc
Ok, so I'm finishing up a project, located near the beach, and I think those flock of birds flying distantly overhead, that everyone seems to use, would look great. Any idea where people get these from? I just figured there might be a source, since I see them so often. Or is it google/photoshop time?

alexg
Geoffc Have you tried googling it? http://images.google.com.au/images?q=birds+flying&btnG=Search&svnum=10&hl=en&gbv=2&safe=off Quite a lot there. We usually just go to the beach and shoot some on digicam. Mostly seagulls tho.
Geoffc
you know, after I posted, I did find quite a bunch on google. I was only asking because I'm under a deadline and was hoping someone had seen some 'ready to go' textures. Photoshop it is!

STRAT
some of my clients (usually developers) ask me to remove birds from my imagery because it indicates where there's birds, there's bird sh*te!
Ernest Burden III
That was my point, rats with wings.
Geoffc
One benefit, I dont think our clients have seen "the birds" on any other renderings yet. So it'll be a novelty, especially for those beach projects. Here's my unfinished first feeble attempt at some birds and other post on this WIP. hah, now all I need is lens flare, a branch hanging over an upper corner and a car with some motion blur..
