Tim Nelson
There was a company that offered some really nice super hi-res wood maps. Does anybody remember who that was? They were giving away a cherry sample for free.

Tim Nelson
Quizzy - I guess I'll never know about that one. Prodham - The arroway textures look great! And at 45 Euros I think I will have to try those. It wasn't the one I was thinking of, but might work. Afterglow - Those are really nice too. Great for doing furniture materials. Thanks all of you. If anybody else has any other ideas keep them coming.
Nic H
Arroway are excellent quality but a bit limited and have some bizzare floor patterns. Out of all the wood maps there are only a few with 'normal' plank layouts. Those defcon-x maps look good! Just what I have been needing simple large timber. quizzy
heya Tim, see attached small version of that texture. They had 200cmx30cm textures at 6000pix wide or something, very hi res.. but the site is gone...
