The_architect06 Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 hi everyone.. is there a way to put a vray sky in the scene but still change the background of the final render to another desired image or an hdri..i tried to do so by changing the viewport background,but it didn't work when i rendered..is there any way around this ?... hope this is not a dumb question... thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crazy Homeless Guy Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 One option is to create a modeled sky dome that does not cast shadows, and is not visible to the GI. Then light it independently of the rest of the scene. I do this occasionally, and it works great, and gives you lots of control. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
