BrianKitts
Where can my employer purchase this book for me? I don't see it on Amazon... As far as I can see the only way to get it is straight from them. I was looking elsewhere because I found that I couldn't use the corporate AMEX to charge the book, the payment service they are using doesn't accept american express (insert your favorite VISA "don't leave home without it" commercial here)
cecofuli
Hi Claudio here you can found all your info, as a review. More info in the official forum www_dot_treddi_dot_com Sorry, i can't insert any link, due to low reply number in this forum, but in the menu you can found the "vray book" link. Or in my personal site. Best regards cecofuli EDIT: for the American express we are waiting our bank for the activation. I don't know why, but for activate this credit card the bank ask us some more time. Edited February 4, 2009 by cecofuli

cecofuli
Hi kippum we know that. We tried 3 different shipping company (Fedex, UPS and DHL) and this is the best price we found (UPS) for 3 Kg book. If I can, I send you the book for $5, but it's not possible. Claudio Branch
I don't need a link. I need the cost of the book and shipping in good ole US of A dollars...
cecofuli
Hi claudio as you can read in that link, the final price is: 119 euro (the book) + 50 euro (for the shipping for the USA). So, if you pay with credit card, our the credit card system calculate the change for you. If you pay with wire bank transfer, when you go to the bank (or the home banking), the operator do the same thing. best regards cecofuli

Claudio Branch
I started to place my order, but then the website went screwball on me.... It confirmed my shipping address by e-mail, but the quantity field is defaulting to 2 copies (and wont reset) and I can't get to the credit card info page. What now? Bullet
We just got our copy into the office last week, we're in Michigan. It took about a week from the time of order to the time it came into our hands. Great book btw.

cecofuli
Hi Claudio, I'm happy you like my work. Sorry, but what's mean "HOSS" bye Francesco
Claudio Branch
"HOSS" means hefty or bulky. The book is physically large and heavy. It is also packed with huge amounts of pictures, examples and info. In short, a compliment...
BrianKitts
I got the book today. This thing is a HOSS and very high quality. It's friggin huge! I'm definitely impressed, I could have used this book a couple of years ago! I really like how it gives a ton of rendered images with various settings for every option in the engine, saves A LOT of time to test render and figure out which direction you need to be going.... being able to see how one button changed 10 different ways looks right away is great. I might have expected showing only 2 or 3 variations.... well done. great resource, I already informed that company librarian that this one will be permanently residing on my desk and anyone who wants can check it out from me!!
