Requests for several new stickies for this category

Hello!

 

After wading through the endless barage of messages looking for information that is (in my opinion) readily available but often misunderstood - I am making the request to the Hardware Guru's here to create a couple of stickies that might help to eliminate the repetitive requests.

 

I was thinking something like;

 

Operating Systems & Memory Allocation Guidelines

It is getting tiring seeing people complain about not seeing all of the memory they purchased with their new system when they are running 32 bit XP and applications.

 

Processor Performance Table

I know you can fiNd this elsewhere - but it isn't always clear. A simple list from fastest down on the processors that are currently commercially available.

 

Video Cards Do NOT Affect Rendering Speed!

The title says it all..........

 

I am not trying to be a wise guy either - I truly appreciate all of the help and guidance the many moderators and contributors provide here. I just want to try and help alleviate the endlessly repetitive questions on these topics.
