AJLynn
I think this means that nobody has enough experience with Max and Vista to comment. We're not Autodesk technical support staff. I recommend contacting Autodesk or your Autodesk vendor for technical support.
IceAged
Unfortunately Autodesk/Max does not support Vista at present - it's as simple as that. (I've tried to get it to run on my Vista laptop without success). I understand Autodesk are working on releasing an update for 9 right now, so stick with XP in the mean time or configure a dual-boot. And silence is surely better than many uncertain replies?
vTay
thanks Andrew and iceaged for your comments i'm so happy to hear that autodesk is working to release an update i'm sure that the problem caused with the uncompatibility with directX 10 waiting for update and thanks friends again
AJLynn
I'm sure the problem is that Vista is a huge waste of time. Use XP Pro or XP64.
