ingo
Thanks nuno, i've used edge rendering together with a lot of gradients (luminanz, color and bump channels) to simulated kind of a cell shading look. ingo

Chris_A
That definitely looks 'sketchier' than the first. I like it. Is this straight out of LW or mixed in post?
ingo
Hi Chris, its still straight out of LightWave. I just found something to break up the edges to get the sketchy look.
Chris_A
Can you move around the thing with the same look as an animation? [ January 01, 2003, 03:36 PM: Message edited by: Chris_A ]
ingo
Well i can render another still without problems, but i think in an animation i got problems with antialiasing. Because i use a plugin normally used for aa for the opposite, it splits the lines and adds the handdrawn look, i think i get a lot of weird render artefacts. I've tried this technique now on a larger project and it still needs some work, but overall it looks like a good start.
