I have also given some environment map for some reflection. But in some area of facade I am getting unwanted vertical lines on the glass & noise for object which is behind the glass. which gets reduced when I decrease the transperency but I cant decrease the transperency...b'coz its night shot.. & the model is modeled in Form Z & Exported in max as DWG. djoshi
Hi, I have sent the image where I am geting that problem, In image you can see that right side I am getting those lines & at left it is clear. Material is same on both side. also there is one more image of day In which those spiders are getting noise when I give raytraced material to the glass in front of it. I have used E - lights as a skylight in this. & when I removed that raytraced mat. & appl. standard materal it worked fine... but I need raytraced....!! So, what is the problem in raytraced material in both the cases..
raterry
I'll need some more info regarding what version of MAX you are using and what render engine. I have an idea based on your using e-light but could you confirm. -=Rob
djoshi
Its max 7 & default scanline renderer..with standered lights no photometric lights with shadow map - for night view. & E - lights & target direct with area shadow - for day shot. 90 % of it is architectural materials, for only glasses & metal I have used raytraced mat.
