i think they all look really good. except for the copper one it needs more work i think. and maybe id add alittle green to the golden one. still there are many kinds of gold and this loooks alot like the asian kind which is really yellow like that. (probably a karat thing or a matter if its pure or not but i wouldnt know)

good work!

For the statue first and also for the gold ^^

I think too that copper needs a little more work, can't define ATM what's going wrong, I think it need some sneaky tricks on BRDF heheheh :D

edit : maybe any falloff diffuse map to make it a lil' more dark outside... gonna try it now ;)

The ceramic one is a first vrayblend :

base mtl : vraydirt as diffuse

coat : vraydirt as diffus with ivert normal checked

This blend mat into a second one :

base mtl : blend 1

coat : refract 255 - reflect : 255 fresnel 2,0

As i said i'm first making a 24 slot matlib, will correct evrything and post the details of each material on this thread ;)

I first try to ask people bout they think, then improve materials and finally give to everybody the explatation ;)

I'm still workin on these materials..

:D

Can you post the basic scene and let some people post renders with different materials that at the end we could all post and share? ...like a big family...:p

I've been working on some aluminum and SS material and would love to test/share them in the forum.
