fts
Is there a way to view 3DS file thumbnails in Windows Explorer? I can only view Max files as Thumbnails and 3DS files in icons. maybe use another filing program? Thanks
Ricardo Eloy
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason you are able to see a thumbnail of Max files in Windows Explorer is the fact that Max creates a BMP image inside the Max file, so you can "see" the what the file is about without having to open it. A 3ds file is simply geometry information, with nothing but that, so you can't see what's inside the file without importing it into Max or using a specific viewer. fts
Which viewer would do it then, i guess thats what i'm looking for because i have a large collection of 3ds and it's a pain to look for specific items. Thanks
