flanree Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Hi, I've had ADT 2006 on my PC for a few years, rebuilt the PC lately, reinstalled XP and it ADT stopped launching so I tried to reinstall it from the DVD. Before install completes it automatically starts this "rolling back action" and says it couldn't complete, try install at a later time. Having tried every suggestion I found online to solve the problem (over the last 20 hours straight!) I still can't get past above error (log shows error 1602 installation aborted by user - even though I did nothing). My current situation is that I have removed ADT 2006 completely from the HD so System Restore now won't go back to when it was installed. Does anyone know what actually causes this error? Please note: I am a single PC user logged as Admin with a stand alone installation, no network. Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
