devicox
I feel like an idiot for asking... We just upgraded to Rhino 4, and I have been trying out all the new features... one thing, that I never could find was a way to modify the keyboard shortcuts for commands. Typing in "LIN" for "LINE" to popup is cumbersome. Also... it seems that many commands have changed the order in which they appear when you begin typing in the command. I have heard of some special file that can be used to accomodate for CAD users in Rhino... it will use all the common CAD shortcuts to execute rhino commands. Anyone know about this? Any input appreciated, thanks, d
FOG Lite
It's fairly straightforward. (that's why I love me the Rhino) Go to Tools -> Options -> Aliases From there you can edit which alias (aka keyboard shortcut) does what. You can also make new ones or even import someone else's settings. I've set up the commands I use most in Autocad to be the same in Rhino as well as creating commands for those I use most in Rhino. Another great tip that took me awhile to find was the "float to top" option for all the tool bar buttons. If you Shift + right mouse click over any button you'll get a dialog box that has a "float to top" option you can check off. This is kind of simple way of customizing your tool bars for the task at hand.
