Thanks for the compliment Christian. Actually I bid myself a little short on this project & I was thinking about mapping the roof, but since you pointed it out directly I might just do it.

And I have Vue not Bryce. I know it is a bit fake looking but most non CG folks cant tell. With it I have almost infinate skys. I think it is worth the cost just for that.

I will post more maybe mid week. Just begining to texture. Bigc, Vue is a sweet little program, you cannot create new plants which is a real downside but skys and terrains are a snap.

The rest of the image is Max 4.2.

That is going to be simply lovely!

I too think it could benefit from a better sky, maybe something a deeper blue with puffy clouds for more of that Italian Atmosphere... heh!

If you do model the roof tiles... I'm wondering just HOW you would go about doing that. It seems like an insane kind of thing to attempt-- I wouldn't even know where to start!

I am afraid that this is going to be an infinate project. Just working on it part time and the owner does not have a deadline. Anyway this weeks update.

I will change out the sky I agree with everyones comment.

I am about 95% done with the modeling. At least until I hear more from the owner.

Updating this image. Not finished texturing and still waiting back to hear on some of the modeling issues.

Was rendered with Max 4.2 and a 90 light dome/1 raytraced target for fakeosity. Not 100 percent on the lighting yet. Suggestions are definatly welcome.

CPU: 2 1.8 xeon. 1 gig ram. Time 34 min. output 2048, 1229.

Next will be adding trees, bushes and a car.
