Carrotious
Hi yall, Did this job a while back and the client has come back asking me to add people to the scene. Having never really worked with people and having a hunch it can be complicated i was wondering what the best way to go about this is. The scene is also animated, camera circles object very simply with all objects remaining still. I'm using Max 8 with vray 1.5. Crazy Homeless Guy
...because of the complexity of the lighting in a tight space, a high quality 3d model would be a good solution. this way the people/person will interact with the illumintation that is thrown off by the shelf lighting. you didn't mention whether or not you were expecting the people to be animated also, or just frozen in time in the middle of the object. Sawyer
One trick I have tried with pretty goos results is to render a 3d model and then comp a photo on top of the face. It only works for stills and it takes time because you have to play with each pixel for a good blend but it looks better than most 3d people at least that I have been able to afford. Now for your animated scene it may be worth reworking the map on a 3d model for the face at least. Almost every 3d person I have used I had to redo the face. ipxstudios
If you use poser people you can position them, animate with walking cycles, and they render quick.
