arvind16uk
I would like to know how to do scripting in 3D rhino. I have never done it before, so I would like to know how to start, and if there is any advice you can give me or any website links that could get me started. Rhino script examples would also be helpful if anyone has any. Thanks
andylebihan
Arvind The best place to start is here: http://www.rhino3d.com/rhinoscript101 This is a series of architects written by scripting guru David Rutten and it starts from the very basics. You should find it to be exactly what you need. In addition, if you have Rhino 4.0, you might want to look at using the Monkey script editor - something we're working on as part of the Rhino labs process. http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.aspx/McNeel/MonkeyForRhino4.html. It is an improvement over the built in Rhinoscript editor in many ways, and makes scripting much more accessible. Also, as I understand it, one of the resellers in England is organizing a scripting course - probably in London, taught by David. You might want to contact them at www.simplyrhino.co.uk for further information.
