maxkid
Hi guys, here's the deal i have a referance image ( check it out ) and need that to match to my 3dmodel ( still making ) only problem i want to camera match 1) the ref image is just some photo downloaded from web of a bedroom I import this in as background create camera helpers points putting them with the red dots in image( where the side drwaer is ) ,i only would start with matching that to my 3dmodel of the box etc 2) i just made a primitve box for matching ( FOR SIDE DRAWER ) , but how do i snap cam points when assigning snap it on the cam points to do not snap to my 3dmodel box ,so well what am I doing Wrong!! 3) for most of our work we already know sizes etc so it makes it easier to match but in this case we are not aware of the exact dimension of the room ,bed , table etc so how does one do camera match when you can only rougly approximate the sizes but do not know exactly. 4) also any idea of any tutorials ,tips etc. cheers,
PGD
I've only used the guess method with this sort of thing. Just keep trying until it looks right. You can easily find dimensions of a standard bed so I'd go from there Not much help I know.
