Hi all again, last job , this job come from one client.. that... is a bit .. surrealist .. i don´t know how to express in english.. the client like rare combinations of colors etc etc

 

the job is 80% finished

i have to work with the glasses reflec.. dof etc etc

 

Done in max 5 vray 1.09u

C&C are very very welcome

Sorry to interrupt such a talk but... :confused:

Well, i like the first image. The light looks good, but i see some "corners" or imperfections on the curved surfaces. These palms are a little too hard (like in the game sonic :D ). The cars are good but the colors of the golf and the beetle seem a little too strong and distracting. Oh! the car paint needs reflection! The girl in a red dress is in a weird place, hidden with the palm :???: (looks like the girl in Shindler's list).

On the second image, it all seems too red! theres a purple artifact on the left window of the second floor eek2.gif (?). Basically the same coments for the first image. And the sidewalk is purple? :???: The houses entrances seem too dark too. The same curve imperfections appear here too, more clearly now.

But its a great model, the roof is really good. is it modelled? :ebiggrin:

I think it looks really good and a bit of tweaking I think the client will be pleased. I would really try re-working the people. The woman in the white blouse in the 2nd image reminds me of a game we always tried to do with the girls. We would walk up to them and say "Gee I am trying to touch my elbows behind my back. I cant do it can you?" and usually they would slap us and that was that. Ah high school. :angerazz:

Hola.

en la primera imagen las palmeras se ven muy regidas, tambien cambiaria las personas, no estan en posiciones muy naturales (dan la impresion que estan en un desfile de modas o sacadas de un catalogo de ropa)...creo que el problema con la gente es que estan muy frontales a la camara...busca unas que esten caminando y se vean de costado o de lado.

A los carros seria bueno ponerles motion blur para darle mas dinamisco al rendering y posiblemente tambien te ayudaria opacar un poco el backgound para que te de mas profundidad.

 

 

The palms are very rigid and the people don’t have a natural position (giving the impression that they are from a fashion show or from Sears’s catalogue)... I think these renderings need walking people and about the cars I’d use motion blur (more dynamic rendering) and would be helpful if you have different contrast for the background...(depth of field)

Erthal : thanks for reply .. i agree with all, including sonic and schlinder list . i will change the palms.. and try to add more drama to schlinder list ... I can´t put reflections on cars.. are RPC ... u know .. easy work .. everyday work) .. the second image.... i put too much photoshop and i got drunk of photoshop.. soon u see a update..with less.. texas chainsaw :D . The roof are entire modelled .. is a roof called "Monocanal" here in spain .. a bad translate will be Single Channel .

i think the people need to be flipped. their shadow side is facing the sun. adding a little contrast might bring their definition in line with the rest of the rendering.

 

the scale of the grass also seems a little large.

 

...and the scale of the girl might be to small. i think a standard bench seat height is 18". if i draw perspective lines in my head, it seems like 18" is just under her armpits. i might be wrong on this one.

Hi,

Nic job.

Here's me bithchin:

  • Grass... trim it down
  • I think that the ppl and car take away from your scene and definitely look "pasted"
  • the floor where the benchs are has no texture
  • We can still se the polygons in the curved part of the building - need to be smoothed
  • The background looks too close, too much in focus and its camera angle is different than yours
