mrdino
Hi Guys , I was just wondering , what is better to use for fast high quality renderings with no big rely on system resources and with good results? Nextlimit Maxwell Render or Chaos Group Vray ? And what is the best way to learn any of these massive engines ? I would appreciate it if someone advise me on that , Cheers ,
STRAT
your key word in there was 'fast', a word which isn't used in the same sentence as 'maxwell'.

Scanline with a good eye for color, lighting and composition wins every time with that criteria. Save your $1000.
AJLynn
Or mental ray. Or Vray Free. But if you want to buy something and you need some speed, Vray is a good choice.
Devin Johnston
Between the two you would want to go with Vray. Maxwell is somewhere between 5 and 10 times slower than Vray and with only 4 render nodes unless your going to only render exterior scenes you wouldn’t be able to render print resolution images out in under 24 hours.
