spanish pants
Hey all, I could use your crit on this one. Í´ve been working on this for so long i think i´m begining to go mad I´m using Vray 1.5 and Max 8. The client has asked for two views, this being the first. At this point i´m struggling with the landscaping. Any coments you might have would be greatly appreciated.
atom_up
This is a great start. The lighting and textures so far is great. Can't wait to see this finished. Honestly, it looks like it's finished already. Good work!
foxlee
Looks good ,I like the environment and feel. The roof feels too light, it needs thickness in the edges and proper weight on the trusses , sizing of wood members etc.
foxlee
I forgot, the two columns carrying the roof definitely can do with bit of body.
Guest nazcaLine
yeah, it looks finished to me too. only crit would the palm tree at right, being so close to the camera you can see it is not correctly shaded (rpc, right?? ). maybe you can correct it in photoshop and i'd like to see the other view also. spanish pants
Thanks for the comments but i wish you all had been more negative or else how am i supposed to get better, hehehe. foxlee i know that some of the roof elements look a little thin but i was following the architect´s direction and plans. I commented some of these things to him, but he told me not to worry about it. Personally i don´t think he´s too crazy about the project. i may come back to this project and fix the roof elements once i´ve handed it to the client. eduardo, i´ve been suffering with the palms the most, but these aren´t rpc. I used a cut-out of a tree i found on the internet somewhere. I really need to invest in onyx or some quality tree and shrub plugins, but money is tight right now. Anyway here is the secong view, it´s far rougher than the first. Still needs plants put in place and some matts for the ones that are already there but you get the idea. erickdt
Your plants and trees on the far left are cutting across your patio furniture and umbrella in strange ways. You must have forgotten to "cut them in" around those elements in photoshop.
