oulined text

Hi, The new guy in the studio has just finished a drawing came to print it off and all his text is now outlined , infact any element that has a fill is now outlined incliding dimension ticks. Not something Ive come across before any idear how to stop it.

tried it but still the same problem . in model space the text and fill areas are solid its just when he comes to plot. Could it be something in the view port settings?

if it is only happening when plotting, then you are probably printing as a hidden line view.

 

this is controlled with the viewport or in the plot settings, as you suggest.

1. Not sure which version you're using but in the newer versions, the plot dialog gives you an option to change the shaded viewport options. see attached.

 

2. SHADEMODE should NOT be on hidden

 

3. HIDE PLOT for each viewport should be off
