AJLynn
I think he means manually, using normal Autocad drafting techniques. Autocad doesn't include an automated image tracer.
STRAT
sounds like he wants photoshop too. trace over the image in autocad, then transfer those traced lines out of autocad to your image in photoshop. that what you mean?
payal
AJ r u sure i cannot trace in Autocad? N Strat i tried da command which u said but couldnt figure it out how to trace it?
AJLynn
What Strat said was not an Autocad command, but a description of what to do. Put image in Autocad document. Send to back. Draw over it using Autocad drafting. There is no automated function for this. You can also put a paper copy of the image on a pen tablet and trace it using the Autocad tablet mode, and the sketch command. But the first thing you should do is learn basic Autocad. STRAT
AJ r u sure i cannot trace in Autocad? he is. you cannot press a button in autocad and have it trace for you automatically. you must draw all lines yourself.

STRAT
i still cant understand what you mean (your english isn't that good i think). put your image in using the IMAGE command. then using DISPLAY ORDER send it to back. Then type in REGEN to active changes. Now, use the normal 2d drafting tools like line, arc, pline etc etc to draw over the top of it. preferably on their own new fresh layer. and maybe change the colour of this layer to something different than what the image is so you can see them better. hope this helps, else you'll need to explain better. STRAT
i'm not passing judgement i assure you. i'm just stating why i personally cant grasp what you're saying. my Indian is non-existant, so please dont jump on that band wagon. i'm only here trying to help. perhaps dont abbreviate your words and write them in full instead. that might make a difference. payal
I was rude..i am sorry..But anyways for future reference i will keep in mind not to abbreviate words.
