dark speckles

hey all,

 

i´m getting little dark speckles in my render. it only seems to be happening on surfaces with glossy reflections and then only in the parts that are in shadow. i turned up the reflection glossy samples to 40 and this seems to help reduce the effect but they´re still there.

any ideas?

It's hard to tell from the image you supplied... but to me, it looks like the speckles are only occurring on the floor.. have you tried fooling with Antialiasing settings? maybe your joint lines are causing the 'speckles'.
