Historic Interior

Hi Guys,

 

Could use any critiques on this image. For a project in school (Historic Preservation) First time modeling and stuff in Max and V-Ray. Got a long way to go but its been alot of fun modeling everything and figuring out stuff. Thanks for any advice:)

Good start..

 

I would pick out the following as main points, IMO..

 

1. Image looks a little blurry, so it doesnt really enhance it.

2. The relief on the door panels looks a little too much, try looking at some real moulding, and see how that compares.

3. Replace that wood texture on the floor. There are some much better ones, that mimic floor boards, much closer to reality.

4. Picture frame looks a little "undetailed" for this image.. needs to be a more traditional frame.

5. Door handles: look at creating some more realistic ones.. would be worth spending a bit of time on.

 

The lighting is good though.. I like the look of it so far..
