colorID Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 HI GUYS, i m using 3ds max 9.0 along with SP1, i have problem when linking autocad to max through file link manager, if i re load a file i modified in acad it losses the materials already assgined to objects, though i check the use scene material difintion and use material assignment in reload. anyone exprienced the same problem? any help will be highly appreciated. regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jtiscareno Posted May 23, 2007 Share Posted May 23, 2007 Hey I have the same stupid problem, and NON of the solutions work, check or unchecked, or one or the other, it keeps detaching all material to link cad geometry and gets rid of the uvw mapping.... what gives???
