STRAT
you have nice imagery, but your website needs to be written in better 'english'. it's very broken. it might even be worth paying to have it worded up properly. your proceedures are a little 'different' too - you talk about an estimate, then a retainer, then a start. sounds like this lot could take a couple of days. what if i want you to start immediately and not pay a retainer? you've lost a job. and delivery - if i want a few nice hi-res pictures that i know will be too big to email you're going to charge me extra for delivery by another method? again, as a client this isn't part of the customer care i'd expect. i also might not like your payment options. as i say, your imagery is fine, but you might want to think twice about how you conduct business and how you present yourselves. your website is most important, it needs to be allot different i'm afraid. ipxstudios
Never say low cost - there is no such thing. There are no shortcuts in modeling, rendering, and animation.
AJLynn
Also, it would probably be to your advantage to say on the site that you're based in upstate New York. With no geographical information somebody who sees your page is likely to infer from your non-native English that you're not in the U.S. Nice visuals by the way - some of the masonry would benefit from a bump map but the use of glossies is excellent. Ernest Burden III
If your goal is to work freelance in the NY market, look into joining the New York Society of Renderers. By joining you will have samples on the http://www.nysr.com site, as well as get known by other freelancers in the NYC area. Its not just for people in the city, its for anyone who wants to compete in the NY market, wherever you may be. Also think about mailing out a postcard advert, or calling firms to see if you can go see them or send them samples by mail or email. Good luck, your posted samples look nice. skala67
i think you need to accept checks too, because that is how most firms will pay you.... The retainer may be a problem if you are working with architects, because they are not always able to pay until the client pays them....that type of stuff should always be worked out in a contract and not upfront. It may cause you some problems otherwise....
