Can anyone recommend3Ds Max plug-in to take the native Pseudo collar exposure control or the Radiosity lighting analysis to the next level . especially as far as representing luminance or Illuninanc in three dimensions in the space, such as what was available in the old light scape

I have yet to find anything I really love for this, but I believe a pseudo color render is about as functional as the old Lightscape system. What are you trying to do exactly? If it's for, say, LEED daylight points and you want software that does daylight factors, there are programs specifically for green design, such as Ecotect, which has a bunch of these sorts of functions.

That's actually what Max Radiosity / Pseudocolor is best at - interiors with photometrics and/or IES lights. It's important that you have a good handle on all the settings involved and that your scene scale is correct, and your diffuse values are in the right ballpark. It doesn't handle caustics but usually you don't need them.

What don't you like about it? Or are you trying to generate some kind of spreadsheet-style report and do some proper lighting engineer work? Are you looking for software like this: http://www.schorsch.com/ltools/

I am trying to combine the proper lighting engineering and reports with a Max scene
