Sketchrender
Have they re worked the rendering engine yet? They look great, i know it a fast render, but it always lacked a few things. Well done. phil
Limbus
hi very nice images and animations! Could u tell us about your light settngs and render times plz? The Interior is lit by an area light and a sky made with the skyshader by Denis (http://perso.orange.fr/dpont/plugins/textures/Skylight.html). The music hall is lit by something like 60 shadomaped spotlights. Rendertime was around 30-45 min. on an Athlon X2 4200+. Florian
Limbus
Have they re worked the rendering engine yet? They look great, i know it a fast render, but it always lacked a few things. Well done. The biggest updates where in the area of rendering and shading. Version 9 introduced a new raytracer and new cameras. 9.2 advanced the cameras and added new antialiasing, photoreal motionblur and much faster GI calculation. There are also some new material nodes for physical correct glas and metal and a nice skin shader (and more...). The Gi is still not as fast as KRay or VRay but it is very useable. robert_mcg
Thank you, Limbus, this is what I like to see. I just wish I could do anything close to it. I am currently using LW 5.6 & 7.5, modeling is not a problem but I do hope to work up to the lighting I see in your renders. Please post more stuff !! r. Mario Pende
How much was the total rendering time for the animation of the livingroom?
IC
The rendering is MUCH faster in 9.2. GI Caching and AA filtering work really well to give quick results. These were both 2 minutes a frame.
