DsgnVsualization
Hi , I have been using the Area AA but which one really gives the crisp clean look?
Crazy Homeless Guy
area is good for animation, because it blurs. i think most people use Catmull-Rom for sharpening. lately i have been using VraySincFilter, which is also a sharpening filter. scroll to the bottom of this page for examples... http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150R1/examples_image_sampler.htm i think there is also a nice AA thread somewhere on the forum that has lots of examples. Msamir
i think there is also a nice AA thread somewhere on the forum that has lots of examples. I don't know the link to the thread but here's an image that was posted before showing the difference.
Nic H
I find catmull rom too sharp and area way too blurry, best bet is Mitchell Netravali combined with high AA settings.
