shikodesign2000
Hi my friends, Lately, I went to make an exam for a company to work as architectural 3d visualizator, I didn't feel any worry, cause I thought I have good experience in making stills, till I saw the exam. They were very smart cause they put for me the proper exam, I mean the thing which I didn't make before, or at least I didn't make something focusing in it basically, it is the metal material in modern glass buildings, the glass wasen't too hard, but the problem was they asked me to do about 4 different levels of silver materials, I don't remember precisely, but I think one of them was shiny metal, dark grey silver, and something like this stuff. My question is: do anyone knows a key settings for this metal silver material to be used in exteriors?
The_architect06
there are no keys in the steel materials other than reflection & IOR..you only have two kinds of steel ( reflective or brushed) ...other than that it all depends on your lighting setup - thats my personal opinion..i don't know about others
