antonio_frias
I'm trying to create a window with mullions. I created a nested family for the mullions with two different mullions to choose from (YES/NO). Up to this point no problem. My problem start when I have three diferent mullions to choose from. In my Family types what formula should I use so that only one of my three mullions are visible in my window family?
Razorback
The yes/no parameter would be the way to go, for each type of mullion the other two mullions would be off for that type.
antonio_frias
Yes, but how should I formulate my equation so that two are invisible and one is visible?
Razorback
Yes, but how should I formulate my equation so that two are invisible and one is visible? You don't really need a formula there just create a yes/no parameter for each type and link that parameter in your object. In the object properties there is a parameter called visible under graphics then link that to your created yes/no parameter then for each type of family just uncheck which mullions you want off. Hope its clear now.
antonio_frias
Sounds simple enough! I'll give it a try. Thx Arnold
Island J
If you dont find it, it is a little button on the right of the "visible" parameter in the properties dialog box. The little button is very easy to miss.
